Does CMA go away?

Fortunately, many children tend to outgrow their allergies. Visit your child’s doctor for regular check-ups to find out if your child is still allergic.

There’s a good chance that a child with cows' milk allergy will be able to enjoy a drink of milk again one day. Most will grow out of CMA by age 3 - 5 years. Only some remain hypersensitive into childhood and adolescence, depending on the individual and the food they are allergic to.

Ask your child’s Doctor for annual check-ups to find out if your child is still allergic after 12 months of age.
